Publications and preprints
The page is organized into two sections, each of which corresponds to a milestone, let's say, in my
original career path as a wanna-be mathematician:
Notes. (i) As a rule of thumb, a PDF copy of a thesis, an article, etc. available on this page is always the most recent version of the same document. (ii) Some journals are now making their archives accessible for free. The links below, if available, link to a published version (which is possibly behind a paywall) or a free preprint of my papers, theses, etc. In all cases, a copy of each publication or preprint can be provided on request (just send an e-mail to the address
salvo.tringali (at) gmail.com).

Note. In Italy, the laurea was the main academic degree until the reforms following the Bologna process. A laurea was, actually, a long university degree (5 years for engineers), which concluded with the presentation of a thesis (usually based on experimental work) in front of a jury.
