Academic year 2014-2015 (Post-doc position now closed)
The newly established research project SISYPH (jointly financed by ANR, France and DFG, Germany) opens several postdoctoral fellowships starting in fall 2014 or later.
The research topics of SISYPH include

Gromov-Witten theory and Mirror Symmetry

Singularity theory and applications to Landau-Ginzburg models

Irregular singularities of systems of linear differential equations

Hodge theoretic aspects of mirror symmetry, non-commutative Hodge structures

Isomonodromic deformations and applications to Frobenius manifolds

Hypergeometric differential systems and toric geometry

Homological and categorical aspects of mirror symmetry
Eligibility:
Positions are open to holders of a PhD in mathematics (to be obtained before starting the fellowship) on topics related to the main research fields of the project.
Home Laboratory:
This announcement concerns three post-doc positions, as listed below. Depending on the result of the selection procedure,
they could be filled with three different candidates, but it could also be envisaged for a candidate to be hired consecutively on several of these positions,
or for parts of these positions. Please indicate in your application preferences for the home laboratory, or the home laboratories and the mixture of positions.
None of these positions has teaching duties, however, candidates are strongly encouraged to participate actively in the projects activities.
The announced positions are:
- Laboratory: École Polytechnique, Centre de Mathématiques Laurent Schwartz (France).
Other French laboratories hosting members of the program are also possible.
- Principal investigator: Claude Sabbah
- Duration: This position is announced for 12 months
- Starting date: September 1st or, preferably, October 1st, 2014. Also possible: September 1st or, preferably, October 1st, 2015.
- Salary: approximately 2000 Euro monthly.

Laboratory: Universität Mannheim, Lehrstuhl für Mathematik VI (Germany)
- Principal investigator: Claus Hertling
- Duration: This position is announced for 18 months, but can be split, e.g. into 12 months + later extension by 6 months, or 12 months one person and 6 months another person.
- Starting date: to be discussed, September 1st or October 1st or later.
- Salary: Scale E 13 TV-L 100%, net salary approximately 2100 Euro monthly (depending on experience and family situation).

Laboratory: Technische Universität Chemnitz, Fakultät für Mathematik (Germany)
- Principal investigator: Christian Sevenheck
- Duration: This position is announced for 18 months and can possibly be extended to 3 years (in which case it comes with a small amount of teaching duties)
- Starting date: to be discussed, September 1st or October 1st or later.
- Salary: Scale E 13 TV-L 100%, net salary approximately 2100 Euro monthly (depending on experience and family situation).
